Abstract
The Conceptualization of Convergent Cyber Literacyو Based on
the transformative role of cyberspace as a convergent issue in an important category such as media literacy is the issue of this article. It seems that we are facing a fundamental and profound change in media literacy in the cyber age. The question of this article is what is the conceptual framework of cyber literacy, especially in distinguishing it from media literacy, and what are its dimensions?
This article tries to conceptualize the term "convergent cyber literacy" by using the descriptive-analytical method and under the influence of the theoretical basis of "convergence" and originating from the reading of "cyber comprehensive communication convergence". The findings show that we are facing deep conceptual changes. This article, while counting the conceptual dichotomies based on the comparison of different definitions of cyber literacy, including: the nature of literacy (knowledge-skills), the approach to literacy (negative-positive), the subject of literacy (technological-content, general-specific, monosyllabic-multi-syllabic) and the literate activist (communicative-communicatee), convergent cyber literacy is "convergent knowledge and skill of communication-communicatee at different levels and with various communication functions in the direction of producing-distributing and receiving-understanding appropriate messages and the correct use of information-communication technologies in the age of cyber space.
