Considering the rapid advancement of technology and digital space, the creative media industries are recognized as one of the major and influential sectors worldwide. These industries have the potential to serve as a substantial source of income for countries. However, the lack of proper and principled policies tailored to the specific coordinates of Iran, along with the shortcomings observed in the short-term policies concerning the creative media industries in recent years, prompted this research to focus on proposing policy-making strategies for the growth of Iran's economy through these industries.

This qualitative research utilized content analysis using the semantic network method. Three overarching themes, ten organizing themes, and sixty-seven foundational themes were extracted from fifteen interviews conducted with experts and key informants. These themes were analyzed based on theories and models in the field of creative media industries, with an economic approach.

Ultimately, it is crucial for the four pillars of the country—government, industry players, academia, and creatives—to pay more attention, coordinate their efforts, and collaborate further in the development of creative media industries.
